I just did BM's cream of 3 crops with the following recipe

6.5# pale 2 row
2# flaked corn
1# flaked rice
1/4 # rice hulls

i use a homemade mill with a gap setting of .40
gathered 8.75 gallon preboil
boiled 105min (since got too much preboil)
ended up with 6 gallon post boil

og was 1.045

beersmith said 79% efficiency but that cant be right
i checked on tastybrew their calculator and it said i got 74.9%

i did treat the water but i had too since my water is not good for such a pale beer. and i also ran the grain 2x cuz i was having problems with my drill and it died on me.

thanks

sounds like 74.9% is your mash efficiency, and 79% is your post-boil (brewhouse) efficiency...
