Neighbor mowed over my cascades

I love the guy to death but that SOB mowed down my 8 in bines... His property is next to mine and he did me a favor by trimming the side of my house, but you never saw a grown man cry till I walked the dog and found my bines trimmed down to the ground.. It's early in the season and I'm too hammered on a stout I brewed to address this till tomarrow... I named the 3 Curly Moe and Larry... I was waiting till this weekend before I installed the trellis... Yes I know they will put up more shoots but I'm inconsolable tonight.. I mean come on they were obviously planted and were not weeds... They were too young to die!!! He doesn't brew and probably won't understand ... Crap... They will grow back ? right guys??

I understand! I'm going to go open another Common Room ESB in memory of Curly, Moe, and Larry(also, because I want another pint).

That is seriously disappointing. Is this your first year growing? I just had a couple more bines pop out a couple days ago on my cascades, it's their first year.

You're going to have to come up with a lawnmower-incident-related name for the first beer you make with them.

This is why we need to cross breed hops with those freaky tentacle plants from the japanese cartoon porn. Then they can defend themselves. Just make sure they accept you as boss so you can harvest the hops when the time comes.

+1 to that. I have some 5 year old Cascade plants that are extremely pissed off at me because it had to live at my step-dad's last year in a bucket. My bedroom window is only 20' up, I may still have a few months before they can try and kill me in my sleep....

Well, in the Sopranos Christophers g-friend was working with the FBI. Ya, he might have wanted to marry her and all but there's a right thing to do and a wrong thing to do. Not that I'm advocating what to do, jus' sayin.

Pour him a beer and after a few minutes of neighborly conversation tell him what he did and if he ever does it again that you've got no problem going BACK to prison.

1 case of herbicide by him is equal to 1 case of homicide by you IMO.

I'd say you have to kill one of his children, it's the only punishment that is analogous to what he has done.

put up a gravestone at the base of the trellis. He will probably keep the mower away from now on.
