I am looking into buying a 50lb. sack of grain soon and while I was browing Northern Brewers website I came across either paying $43 for Rahr Premium Pilsner or $80 for Belgian Pilsner. Besides the difference in what is half of the price of the other, what makes these two different and is it really worth it to buy the Belgian Pilsner?

Unless you are doing recipes that specifically call for Belgian pilsner, save some cash and get the american.

I keep two base malts in stock, Crisp Maris Otter and Dingeman's Belgian Pils. Ive been more than happy with this combination
