Santa was very good to me...I received (2) Midwest Bourbon Barrel Old Ale kits, both with milled grain! Since I don't want to make a 10 gal. batch, I am going to double up on the oak cubes for the one I'll brew Jan 1. That leaves me with the following:
Extract
6# Amber Malt LME
3.3#Gold LME
Grain (Milled)
8 oz. Brown Malt
8 oz. Crystal 60L
8 oz. Wheat
4 oz. Chocolate
4 oz. Aromatic
Hops
1 oz. Norther Brewer
2 oz. Willamette
2 oz. Fuggles
Thought I might brew and add 2-3# Dark DME plus 1-2# Honey the last 15 mins. Unsure about hop schedule, though.
Any other ideas or help regarding these ingredients?
