Hi there, Tried my first batch with a wild yeast i captured today. basic BIAB 1 gallon batch(to see if it would work).

1kg marris otter
0.5kg marris otter(homeroasted 30m @400)

0.5g fuggles @60
0.5g cascade @5

made a RWS with the yeast and it got going like crazy. pitched the yeast at 85 and it got going in about 30 minutes.

pretty pumped on this batch right now, its been chugging away like crazy for about 30 hours now and these yeasts are hungry.

My method for capture was just 2 glasses filled halfway with wort put beside a window for 2 weeks. when fermentation slowed i poured off some liquid and tossed it in a container in the fridge!

ill be back with a taste prognosis!
