After waiting three long weeks my barley crusher finally arrived. Time to start brewing. One question though, it says to lubricate with vegetable oil, but where?

The flux capacitor or the bearing. I am not entirely sure, maybe someone else knows which.

Can't answer your question. I've never lubed mine, put about 200 pounds of grain through it. Lubing once in awhile sounds like a good idea. Please post if you find out how.

Nice! I just placed an order for one last week. I can't wait to get it and start buying in bulk...plus it will be a nice addition to my workbench in the garage!!

look at the sides of the aluminum plates where you can see the ends of the shafts.

lube the shaft ends in the bronze bearings.

just a little dab will do you.

lube is cheaper than metal.
