I currently live in New Jersey but have spent many summers in Wisconsin drinking Spotted Cow. I am looking for a good all grain clone recipe. I have seen some similar threads but not seen any feedback from people who have actually brewed the beer. Anyone have a recipe they have tried and liked the way it turned out? Thanks for your help.

Right, so have I. But we live in Wisconsin and obviously have an easy access to SC all the time. I think he may have a better chancve if he is outside of their distribution.... maybe.

I too have received nothing from them on the topic after a request.

I got the impression that New Glaurus does not really have any interest in homebrewers. I recall reading an interview with Carey where he implied he had little use for homebrewers. I might be wrong. I'll see if I can dig that up.

I would not be surprised. He is very old school and did not come out of the American craft world. He was traditionally trained under an apprenticeship in Germany, so it is possible he picked up their propensity for secrecy...
