Hey all,

I want to use beersmith for an applewine and another cider recipe, but I can't seem to find anywhere where they have apple juice listed as an ingredient..I cant formulate my recipes in Beersmith without it, obvisouly.. So is it there somewhere and I am just missing it? Or is it an ingredient you need to manually add?

thanks!:mug:

I think you have to add the apple juice in there. Go to Grains and extract button. Up on the tool bar you will see "new grain or extract" and click on that. Fill in all the blanks you know.

I may be wrong, I was just thinking out load.

yup you need to add it manually just drop a hydrometer into a tube of the juice to find the og. be somewhere around 1.020 iirc

Thanks I was tryin to convert from the 8# per gal that pubah had said. Just trying to get this rigt in the program and the juice was more like 1.045(motts)
