I'm having a difficult time connecting my corny keg from time to time. I'm wondering if there is a food grade lube that I can put on the connections to make it easier. Any suggestions?

It's called, oddly enough, Keg Lube...

You can find it on virtually all homebrew supply sites (that have any kegging hardware) as well as almost all LHBS stores... A little goes a looooooong way too.

I use 100% pure silicone lube from the plumbing section of a home store. don't use anything petroleum based.

Hoss, I hope that's food grade lube you're using. Keg lube is 100% designed for this application. I seriously doubt the silicone lube you're using is.

It is. It's FDA/NSF approved for potable water and incidental food contact.

Keg lube is generally FDA approved silicone grease. The cheap stuff is petroleum/mineral oil based

It would not surprise me if they came from the same source, though I can't prove that.

This is what I use and can be found at any restaurant supply store..
