Started my first brew on the 29th. I started brewing a Austin Home-brew Porter on the 29th. It started bubbling nicely after about 12 hours. When I looked in on it today the bubbling has slowed way down is this normal?

Yes, bubbling slows down eventually. Usually when active fermentation winds down. It really means nothing. If you want to know take a gravity reading.

Just because active fermentation has slowed, doesn't mean the yeast are done yet.

It is probably fine. Usually the most vigorus fermentation only lasts a few days and then it slows down. Give it a few weeks and then check the gravity if it is close to the recipe and stays that way for a few days you will know it is done.
