Homebrewers,

I was planning on bottling a Porter that has been fermenting for twelve days now. However, I have been checking the specific gravity for the last three days and the readings have been 1.019, 1.021, and today 1.022. Any thoughts on what's going on?

Any help would be appreciated.

you're brewing in outer space?

check and adjust for the temperature of the beer. hydrometers read accurate at normally 60 or 68F. you'll have to look at yours to find out which.

Unless the temperature of the samples is changing, the SG would never go up. I would make sure you are reading it correctly.
