From my little experience, yes, it will taste like banana. Did you use WLP300? The warmer temperature it ferments at, the higher banana flavor you will have. Read the comments here.

Sense of taste has so much to do with smell that naturally you may perceive the banana taste..
In my experience the flavor isn't quite as "strong" as the scent.. and the esters may fade with time.

My brother just fermented his at 72-74 very bannanaish, but very good i believe using the same strain, The hef i brewed with the white labs yeast at 62 no bannana more clove, when i make another batch im going to separate the batch and ferment one at either temp and blend at bottling
