I'm just about done with my Keezer but, I have a concern about R values and temperature differences. I have a 15 cf freezer that I've divided in half with some insulting material with an R value if 3.3 (6.5 doubled). I've divided my Keezer into two sections; 1 for kegging and the other for fermentation. I plan to have the entire freezer plugged into one controller that will cool the whole unit with another controller plugged into a heating unit to keep fermentation temps higher.
So my question is 3.3 or doubling the insulation (6.5) going to give me the desired 20-30 degree temp difference that I'd need?
