I must be defective. When I drink I keep rotating my glass so that the lacing is washed away down my throat. I can't stand to see it on the glass because it looks dirty.
 
I'm not sure I understand the significance of lacing. Can someone please elaborate?

It's kind of like clarity: doesn't matter too much for taste but boy does it look nice. Also if you have lacing you had a lasting head which means you get a more aromatic drink.
 
Nice! I have heard simcoe is going to be phased out as a hop...too difficult to grow.
 
You could re-name this thread " How many sips does it take to get to the bottom of a glass of Home Brew"
