Looks pretty tasty man :) Did you dry hop those hops all on the same 6 days all together?

I did. Its been carbing up in a keg for about 2-3 weeks now. I need to test it again. I hope it hasnt lost too much aroma from sitting.

Awesome. I am looking forward to hearing how the aroma came out. I just dry hopped 3 oz of two different hops together and it came out EXCELLENT!! Nice stats too on the original post. Do you use Beer Smith to get all your calculations?

I see youre in the music industry as well huh? :) I sing in a few bands from Reno. You should check them out.. I don't know if its against the rules to post links yet, but Ill PM u if I can :)

It looks good, only that is around 3 times as much crystal as I would use, and mashing at 155 I can't imagine this didn't turn out to be very sweet. What was your FG?

I use beersmith. Ill check out your bands on reverbnation. I am also on there.
I see most people dont like to use this much crystal. Why not?? Color? Malt flavor? My mash temp was too low? What should it have been? 159? For sweeter?

I need to look up my recipe and see what FG was. Thanks for feedback. I really appreciate it.

159 is crazy hot.. If its an IPA you should be mashing 148-150. As far as all that crystal, well, unless you like your beer to have a very sweet, syrupy quality I would cut it back.

Ok lower mash temp for ipa. Got it. Actually I do like my ipa a little sweeter. But thats me I guess.

The FG was 1.011, making it 6.5% abv

So I just sampled this. It definitely has a sweetness to it, (I like it, but maybe I'll reduce the crystal next time) with a melon-y/citrus-y aroma, It needs to get colder. I had my keezer set at 60 for fermenting a steam beer batch. Just cranked it down to 46.
next time I think I will go back to old hop schedule for this beer. Which was amarillo/citra dryhop.
