Hi all;

What do you use for a remote propane valve ? I'm looking at running a line from the tank
to the burner with a valve up at the surface of my brew cart. I was thinking of using a ball
valve (after the regulator.) But I've heard that the ball valves are not for propane.

What have others used?

Others use what is called Needle Valves. They allow for more precise flame control I hear.

I use plain old ball valves and don't see a reason to change.

Look here. Call them if you need something different as they don't list everything they have and they can special order just about anything you might need, propane wise. Prices seem to be reasonable too:

OTOH, a ball valve will also work and you can buy them locally.
