So after a week away from my house it's 45 F in my house, so too f-in' cold to mess around with taking a pic. The good news is the beer I left conditioning in boxes in my kitchen were already chilled to perfection, no fridge time required. It's a pretty basic red that I brewed for SWMBO. Same grain bill as the KRA, but only had a small bittering charge of Apollo and some Styrian Goldings at 5 min. It's pretty damn tasty if I do say so myself. :)

I caved, only two cans for the tasting. F them, I needed this can....

A friend traded one can with me... and another friend heard, so I have only had half a can ever. I'm very jealous.

Dude, I know the feeling. My first can was split between 4 of us. The next two were acquired one at a time and shared with my wife. I was finally able to get a can to myself the 4th time I traded for it when I got two cans. I was lucky enough to be able to source 12 recently in two trades for Surly Abrasive. Beer wise... It's my white whale, and always takes some work to score even a single can. :mug:

Dude, you could have adopted a Nigerian refugee for what you spent on beer this month :D

Some god awful coffee from the store. First time I've bought roasted coffee at a chain store in about a year. Better than a splitting headache? Arguable.

Glad ya like it brother, it's one of the best!

Bittered with worrior, finish is all citra, awesome too, they push that hop to the limit. Huge citrus and tropical fruit nose, some catty aroma too. The added malt and mouthfeel come from oats.

This one's still damn good though. :mug:

Huh. All Citra?? I got a lot of the fruity notes, some citrus, but it didnt stand out to be Citra for me. Off the initial pour it seemed a bit more piney, resiny. But after warming I now get the Citra. Not that I dont believe it. This damn cold has GOT to GO!! I have been hacking up crap and blowing my nose like crazy. I was initially going to wait till I was all better to start tasting all my new goodies but I couldn't wait haha. Again, thanks a TON Nordeast. You really hooked it up. Your box should be there today or tomorrow!

I'm drinking my first 3 home brews. Caribou Slobber American brown ale, an Irish Red Ale, and a Cream Ale. Every time I have one, I declare it to be my favorite....until I have a different one, then that becomes my favorite until I try the next one! It's a good problem to have:rockin:

It was good - quite a bouquet of spices that gave it a lot of complexity. I think letting it sit for another 6 months will improve it though.

Well maybe I'll just crack it open, I guess Stone posted the homebrew recipes on their site.

Well,I won't be bottling my latest pm ale for a few days yet. So it's ice beer & vodka for now. At least the ol' flintstone fridge is keepin them nice & cold for free.:mug:

my moronic curiosity got the best of me. I picked up a 6er of Blue Moon Belgian Pale. I might be able to freeze concentrate the other 5 & make 1 tasty beer out of it. the taste reminds me of sake: it completely disappears after you swallow.

Not sure what to say about this beer. It's a little sour and I've taken several sips to make sure. The base beer is good, but the sour note is unpleasant.

My biere de mars. Don't think I'll have too many left from this batch by March, but I'll be brewing take II with ECY kolsch very soon. I'll get another bottle out for a money shot.

You think its infected? I got a bottle of that I haven't opened yet. I believe its a year old. Should I drink it?

Nelson/citra saison. Body is a little thin, but the aroma is spot on. Some flaked grain in the next batch should help dial in the mouthfeel and head retention.

Well, it ain't gonna kill you, so there's that. It's drinkable, but that sour note is annoying and very out of place in a chocolate stout. The only reason I would want you to drink it is to confirm whether it's an isolated problem or something more widespread.

trying to get rid of this abomination, so yet another Blue Moon BPA. i suppose it's not too fair to them. I was just expecting something a bit... more.

Courtesy of SFGiantsFan. Thank you bro!!

If you want man, we can work something out for say, February when Hopslam and Double Crooked Tree are both around.

You are very welcome! I bought a bunch of Blind Pig and gave it all away. Never even had one for myself haha. What do you think of it?? Cheers brotha!

What did you expect from coors? Lol!

Finished season 7 of Weeds finally and was planning to watch season 8. Unfortunately, even though the season is well over, it's only available to order online. Not even available on the streaming services. So I bought a copy of Casino (excellent HD remastering job, btw) and am settling into that and this beer that I am extremely excited about. From what I remember of Tramp Stamp, the hop character is in the same neighborhood, but the Belgian character is much more pronounced. Great beer.

Wow. That He'Brew Sweet 16 Jewbelation is strong. Sixteen malts, sixteen hops, and sixteen percent ABV.

But, since I ate a pizza with sausage and Canadian bacon for dinner, I'm still not Kosher.

Taste-wise, it's a little...full... Not crisp, not defined, not refreshing. It is enjoyable, but I think it works better with lox and bagels. Heck, everything works better with lox.

Not to threadjack but I agree about the Casino remastering. The only problem is they did too good of a job, the car exploding scene was hilarious because of how clear the dummy in the car was.

Also drinking one of my old faithfuls, Arrogant Bastard.
