Has anyone got any advice on whether screw top bottles are any good for storing your wine once made? If you can use screw tops how long would the wine last for? Thanks for your answers.

I have used them without a problem. However, the longest I have use them on any particular bottle was for about a year or so.

1 year or less and they will be fine as long as stored around 55 degrees or so. If you want to really age wine you need to cork.
I started out using the screw caps and stored them in the closet. Over the summer the house just got too hot and they carmelized and I had to dump about 3 gallons.
