Base grain question

Can Cara Munich Type I be used as a base grain? I've never used it before. I made up a Porter recipe with the following grain bill:

Cara Munich TYPE I: 9.5 lbs
Chocolate Malt: 1 lb
Crystal 120L: 1 lb
Black Barley: .5 lb

Perle: 1oz (60 min)
Willamette 1 oz (15 min)
Willamette 1 oz (0 min)
 
Like Conroe said, NO, it's a crystal malt.

In other words, it's a specialty malt used in small quantities to complement base grains.

Pale, 2-Row, Pils, Wheat, Vienna, Munich can all be considered base grains, with Pale Malt, 2-Row, and Pils being the dominant base grains.
 
No, it's a 34L crystal without any enzymes. You could, however, make an interesting porter using regular Munich as the base. It would be massively malty.
 
Just to hijack a little bit... I heard Jamil say that Aromatic has enough diastatic power to convert itself. I was considering doing an all Aromatic beer. Thoughts? It's generally described as a maltier Munich malt. I've only used it in small amounts here and there.

Thanks for the replies. I had a total brain fart on this one. I think I'll brew the Porter with 9lbs of 2-row, and 1lb of Cara Munich.

Thoughts: It would probably turn out quite bleh. I've used 1# in a recipe before, and I don't think I'd use any more. it is a specialty grain, not a base grain.
 
I think Ohiobrewtus did an all aromatic malt beer, but I don't remember which hops he used. I think he said it came out really nice.

I use pilsner, Vienna, Munich, maris otter, and US 2-row as a base for my beers.
