Friday we had some rather inclement weather and I was pretty much left to my own devices that evening...with a few variates of homebrew and some Green Flash West Coast IPA to keep me warm and cozy.

Great big simcoe hoppy aroma with a generously hopped flavor to match. They do a good job hiding that 7%..fantastic stuff.

East coasters that can't find it locally, give Weyerbacher's Double Simcoe IPA a try for something with a similar nose and flavor.

I miss the great beer selection of the west coast. :( Thats a good IPA!

I recently found two new sources of hard to find brews including this place:

Granted, their location isn't totally convenient for me but I do wind up in that general area every so often...so I make it a point to swing in when I am there. Ratebeer and a few other sites were helpful in discovering some new retailers with different stock than what I can get in my immediate local area.
