Backyard Pro Outdoor Range: KAB knock-off or improvement?

I recently came across this burner:

Very reasonably priced and looks very similar to a KAB4:

- 17" cooking surface
- 9" 3/4 heigh
- 210k BTUs
- 30 psi regulator

The Backyard pro has a 8" cast iron burner, while the KAB is 10".. But both are same btu rating.

The major improvement I see to the Backyard pro is that the pot actually sits much closer to the flame, unlike the KAB that needs a wind shield.. Seems like a better design to me.

I haven't found any review of backyard pro online though.. Anybody own or heard of it?

any update on this. shipping is 15 dollars. not outrageous. just wondering if anyone had experience with quality of this product. thanks

I ordered two of the sp10 style burners. I will inform of the quality. Not exactly what Iwas wanting but hopefuly it will work.

Any update on this? How do you like it?
