Let me know how your madrugada cline on cherries turns out. I did the sane thing, used 3lbs Michigan pie cherries. It's nice at 6 months in the bottle.
Pretty tart and full of cherry flavor, that's for sure. But I will have to bottle soon and let it sit for some time. Otherwise it's pretty tasty. Sorry to hijack.
