I'm going to brew a wheat IPA next weekend and am hoping for suggestions for hopping as all the IPA's I've done far have been full recipes I've found on HBT. The planned grist and mash outline is below and needing to fill in the hopping type and schedule.

I'd like to keep the OG at 1.070 or lower, as I expect 001 to take it down to 1.012 pushing it to 7.8. I'm shooting for 65-70IBU and had originally planned to bitter with columbus to around 40IBU at 60min and flavor/aroma with Cascade or Centennial, Citra and Amarillo/Simcoe. I was going to save the Chinnok for dry hop and maybe do Chinook/Amarillo/Citra in the dry hop.

I'd like to shoot for clean bitterness, flavor and aroma of piney/resin/citrus. I have the following hops types available in quantity.

Columbus
Citra
Simcoe
Cascade
Centennial
Amarillo
Nugget
Willamette
Belma
Warrior
Sorachi Ace
Nelson Sauvin

I have small quantities of the following hops.

Chinook 1oz
Magnum .8oz

So fellow hop heads, how would you hop this IPA?

Just my 2 cents, but you may want to watch the IBU's in this style. Wheat beers are usually a little sweeter and more delicate, high IBU's can ruin a wheat IPA in a hurry. Unless you really want that bitterness, which is totally fine. i usually hop mine in the 35ish range and blow up the late additions and dry hops for that real fresh hop punch, I use a combo of warrior for bittering and a 50/50 blend of citra and amarillo. Let us know what you decide!

Lagunitas does an awesome ipe with wheat (Little Sumpin' Sumpin') it's great. I would personally (for a wheat ipa) go with Amarillo, Citra, Centennial and Simcoe for flavor for some serious citrus and pine flavor and keep with the amarillo, chinook and citra, maybe subing the citra for columbus if your looking to have a "not so citrusy" aroma with the flavor. Just MHO. Brew on though. Any way looks good! Some of my favorite hops there :mug:

I would take the Amarillo out, but that's just me. I have brewed a White IPA with that much wheat and it tastes awesome. I did Cascade, Citra, Centennial, bittered with warrior for that one. It was 60 IBUs

I think I'm going to tweak it a bit further, with a goal of piney/citrus with some resin, I'll also decrease the IBU a bit. I moved the 20min Simcoe to 15min and changed the late addition to flame out and moved them to Simcoe, Amarillo and Citra. This should hit 65 IBU, but I may decrease the bittering hops and shoot for 60 IBU.

I've still got the Amarillo/Simcoe/Chinook dry hop in, but I might swap out the Amarillo for Citra or maybe Cascade or Centennial.
