My current process for kegs & fermenters after use are as follows:
Oxyclean soak & drain
Star San soak & drain
Storage until needed
Star San soak & drain
Use
Repeat

So, since I am sanitizing before I use them anyway is the pre-storage sanitizing pointless?

Thanks, I think I started sanitizing right after the oxiclean soak to remove the film I was getting from either using too much Oxiclean, letting them soak too long, or both, and just continued the process from then on out.

For your kegs, you can sanitize right after you clean them, then pressurize. When you go to fill, it's still sanitized. But if you don't have to blow off CO2, you'll know right away you have a leak somewhere.
