hello i've been a HBT member for a while now and have been brewing my own great beer since 2009, but this is my first post. I need to know if there is something wrong with my fermentation, I made a batch of wort (a nice brown ale clone of a moose drool) nothing crazy, last night and then pitch my WLP002 this morning around 10ish. it's now 9pm and the airlock hasn't even bubbled.... is this ok or is this what i fear a stuck fermentation? any advice helps......

also does yeast washing go the same for mead yeasts?

Did you make a starter? If not, did you warm the yeast to room temp prior to pitching? Did you aerate your wort prior to pitching? Did you mix your yeast into the wort?

Respond with more details and people will help!

yes i did check gravity, 1.066 and yes warmed to room temp, no starter. ok thanks for the help, just was checking.
