I brewed a dortmunder using Wyeast Bohemian Lager yeast. I did a 2.5 gallon batch but used a full activator smack pack as usual. It needed a diacetyl rest which was done and that cleared up the butter aroma. The problem is it still has an very oily, slick taste. It seems like your drinking a bottle of oil. Anyone ever have this problem. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

Post your recipe and procedure if you want help. Somewhere there is a problem.

"Oily" mouthfeel to me sounds like it's still diacetyl. In high levels, diacetyl tastes buttery. In low levels, it's a slick and oily mouthfeel.

How long was your d-rest? If you haven't yet racked, continue the diacetyl rest until the oiliness is gone.
