Shelf life of room temperature keg

Hello,

I am wondering about the shelf life of a keg at room temperature after being filled with a fresh batch of beer.

Did you purge the o2 out?

If its got co2 pumped in and no o2, then you should be fine for a few months. I drink mine too quick to be able to know

A keg is just a big bottle if purged correctly. So, just like a bottle, the type of beer will determine how long it should stay good. I've had kegs of stout sitting in the basement for months before they got to the keezer. I wouldn't want an IPA sitting for that long though.
