Ed, didja ever think that people would have mead nearly 20,000 gallons of your recipe?

If that ain't a reason to go into business I don't know what is.

I think yeast_infection meant 17,744 ... not 14,344...

where was I ... throwing me off!
17,746.5 + 10 = 17,756.5

17,760.5 + 5 = 17,765.5

This is the "must make another batch 2 weeks after the first" per EdWort's instructions batch.

2nd batch made with syrup, brown sugar and cinnamon so fingers crossed

17,785.5+1=17,786.5

TBag, how much of the syrup, brown sugar and cinnamon did you put in?

Curious to see how this turns out. Sounds tasty!

.5 lb of brown sugar
908g tin of Lyles golden syrup
OG came out at 1.090

i boiled 2 sticks of cinnamon in the dissolving sugar/syrup and half the juice
then removed one of the sticks and left the other in the fermenter

had a sip of it when it was boiling away, tasted tip top

2nd batch - this stuff is GOOOOOOOD! and Ive been drinking it only 6 weeks old... I need to stash some

17,786.5 + 5 = 17,791.5

17,791.5 + 5 = 17,796.5

A bottle is still sitting at my sister in laws house from over a year ago. I think I'm going to steal it.

second batch
17,809 +5 = 17,814

I enjoy it as is, but often add a splash to a glass of white wine
for my wife :mug:
