My neighbor's maibock (he's a home brewer too) *edit* to correct iOS auto "correct"?

An extremely cloudy IPA that rewarded me with major intestinal problems at 4:30 this morning. (My first IPA). Went out this morning and bought a freezer for crash cooling in the future. The rest of my inventory is staying in primary until that sucker gets here.

However...the aroma from dry hopping in the keg is phenomenal.

I have a long way to go...

That's a damn nice shot.

He's getting good, huh. He's been inspired by some of the stellar porn from some of the fags over on BeerForum.

Gotta put that $900 DSLR setup to good use.

You bastard. :mug:

I'm shopping, doubt I'll go that high end, but something nice. One day I'll be a pornogr..... er, photographer too. :D

I'd love to say I have a high end camera, but the reality is mine is considered an entry level camera. But just so you know, that was $900 for the whole setup (body, 2 lenses, carry bag and a bunch of accessories). Now that mine is a couple years old you should be able to get something better for the same or cheaper.

Nukebrewer are you using the pancake style lens, cause if so ill have to get my wife one

Not a bad one. Lots of barnyard funk on the nose, some dried fruits too. Flavor is mild, with some dark fruits and a slightly tart, acidic bite. Finish is crisp and dry with a hint of tartness at the end.

The rest of my bomber of SXSW. Too boozy-sweet for me. This is probably the only beer I havent liked that much from Widmer.Paid too much for it too-I hate when that happens.

The technique used with the last couple pics doesn't work so well with dark beers. I'll have to do some experimentation. This is my oatmeal stout.

Backlight won't do much here ;) Try a light from below or several low intensity lights from the front.

The pick of you kiwi red is awesome though. Made better by the incredible clarity in that beer!:ban:

*edit again* either the iPad is getting even worse with auto-corrector I'm getting pretty smurfin' drunk. Probably the latter :)

Had a few home brews while brewing today.

Oaked mild
Robust porter
Rye stout

Then had a Dales pale ale
Now drinking a Central Water Bourbon barrel stout.
