dme conversion ?

sorry i dont have beersmith cause i use mac. i understand beersmith has a converter. i am curious if anyone can tell me how i can convert 4lbs of wheat DME into grain. i did a orange wheat and loved it so much i want to try it all grain. im just not sure on the type of grain and the amount to use. ? any help would be appreciated ! thanks and God Bless
 
ok great thank u! as far as the wheat goes? I was lookin at the different base malts and only noticed "white wheat" is that the same thing? I thought that was used to make wits?as u can see I have never done all grain but want to give this one a try. I think the beer will taste fuller with more mouthfeel.
 
4 lbs DME * 44 = X lbs grain * 38 * (your mash efficiency)
the 44 is the pts/lb for DME and 38 is a guess of the pts/lb of your grain, you'd need to check that.

Assuming 70% system efficiency, solving for the grain gives:
X lbs grain = (4*44)/(38*0.7) = 6.6 lbs grain
