6 lb light liquid malt extract
1 oz cascade hops @ 60 min
1/2 oz cascade hops @ 30 min
1/4 oz cascade hops @ 15 min
1/4 oz cascade hops @ 5 min
1 pack rehydrated dry windsor yeast
This is my basic house pale ale - what I brew when I don't have a ton of time, or when I want to show a newbie how to do basic brewing. It could probably be improved with a bit of carapils malt to improve head retention, and some other steeping grains for flavor.
This is a hoppy and fruity brew - really a good quick session beer.
