I brought back a kit from the USA More Beer called Mikes Amber. Just tasted after a few weeks and its aggressive on hop flavour, and kind of wish I had missed the dry hop out.
Do you think it will mellow with time?
Ps
TSA opened my case as the 9lbs of LME in aluminium bag must have looked odd on the xray.

It's a 40 IBU beer that they market as "a full-bodied, hop-forward beer. Not for the weak of heart! " It is supposed to be quite hoppy.

All hop hop flavor fades with time, so you can let it mellow if you don't like it.

Thanks, I do like strong hops but it's all about degree. I was planning it for a party in about 4 weeks may leave it for Xmas instead.

Tried an few at the weekend, calmed considerably, very nice with a little chocolate Finnish, hmmm
