I'm a newbee and just racked to secondary for the first time. I'm thinking I might need to add a little more mead/must to this carboy. Do you think I need to bring the level up closer to the stopper?

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the feedback, I might add a grunt more...I had about 500ml left over from the racking and maybe another250ml from earlier hydrometer tests (the two aren't mixed, though). I guess I need to post my haphazard brew-log for this batch. It's a traditional and has *really* surprised me on taste. I haven't stabilized it or anything and the last SG was around 1.009. No activity now in the air lock. Hopefully it won't change to much. :)

I'm really tickled as this is my second mead, the first being a JAOM which is 2 months old today and still has fruit floating but is smelling good. We'll see what happens. :cross:

Thanks again!
Ed
