Welcome. I got into home brewing a few years ago just so I could make Bavarian Hefe. It had been 20 years since I had it and I can still taste it!

I assume you face the same if not worse challenges in finding supplies?
Or have you found the secret stash!?
We have a small but active group of ex-pat homebrewers in Munich who meet once a month to sample each other's beer and trade notes etc.
Are there many in your area?

Yes I belong to the Germen Homebrewing club VHD and to get my supplies i get them from https://www.hobbybrauerversand.de/index.php as far as Yeast i get it freash from the local Brewer here

Welcome, this is a great site. I lived in Germany for 10 years in Hohensolms, about an hour north of Franfurt by Geissen. I've been back in the US for 8 years. I used to could speak pretty well and still can when I've drank a few too many!
Just told that joke to my office mates and they are now rolling on floor laughing!!
