Hey All,

I'm in the middle of my brew rig build and i've got a question about lighting the banjo burner.

I cant seem to get the thing lit by putting the lighter in 1 location, i have to wave it all around the burner above all the jets to get it going, is that normal? If i get it lit in 1 area it does not seem to want to light the surrounding jets, if its not normal any idea whats going on?

I'm using this
Cast Iron Banjo Burner (burner only)

and this
Regulator Kit for Banjo Burner

Thanks in advance!

After some fiddling I figured it out. I had to reduce the amount of air the burner was taking in at the inlet(where the propane line is attached). When its turned down it makes a larger, wider flame and thus ignites the entire burner.
