I am ready to transfer my IPA to my cornelius keg and since it's been a few years since i last brewed, i have forgotten how many pounds of co2 i should put on the keg in order to carbonize it properly.....i recall something like 30 pounds for 2 days and then back off to 5 pounds for pushing out of the keg...any response is appreciated...cheeers
 
I believe you're right about the 30 psi if you want to force carbonate quickly, though serving is usually closer to 10psi depending on serving tube length. Other people just keep the keg at serving pressure for a week or two before drinking and let the beer carbonate more slowly. it takes longer but there is no worrying about over carbonating. HTH
