Any advice on using rice to brew in beer? I was looking into using rice in my mash. Is this possible, or should I just use flaked rice? Thanks for the help. Cheers!

I use both flaked rice and minute rice in my brewing of lighter ales and lagers. If you are crushing your own grain then add the rice after the rest of the grain has been crushed. You do not need to crush the rice. Smaller pieces in my mashtun can make it harder to get clear runnings when sparging.

If you use regular rice boil it like you were gonna eat it then add it to grain at beginning of mash
