I was going to brew it last weekend but just didn't have the time. I've got to bottle my brown first and maybe my cider...if I do I might brew another cider..just too easy

Happy brewing :mug:

A belgian tommorow, haven't decided on a recipe yet. The following IIPA/barleywine on Sunday though. Both have starters going since yesterday, the belgian is from washed yeast and it is going crazy! So, figured I'd give the other an extra day to catch up.

VCCA. Still trying to tinker with this recipe to get it competition ready. Using WY1056 and honey malt this time around, and changing the hops from Cascade to Hallertau. Also might make some Apfelwein.

Probably the Auburn Amber. Got a hard frost this morning, almost looks like it snowed. So, an afternoon session is called for.

10 gallons of a Simcoe/amirillo APA.

A guy traded me his ice cream chest freezer for 5 gallons of that liquid gold:mug:

I must brew so i can pay the piper.

If i am really motivated i will also do 5 gallons of oatmeal stout.

Going with a Milk Stout. My LHBS just starting carrying pale chocolate and brown malt again, plus I'm going to try some coffee malt they just got in.

I've got a bag of that coffee malt sitting in my freezer; that's real nice stuff, I haven't decided what to use it in, though. Kinda like burnt toast crust, but not too harsh or assertive. I'm thinking it might make a good, kinda roasty complement to an ESB or something like that, add another element to it.

Nuthin. Wifey won't let me ;). I've got enough beer to last me through armageddon right now, and I've gotta drink thru some of it first. I've got quite a bottle collection, and I'm just about out of empties. Think about that. I think I have about 25 cases in my basement right now. I want to brew so badly, just to scratch that itch...but alas...

When I drink through some of this, I'm brewing the Tripel Twins. It's gonna be a showdown.

But I might bottle my Cappuccino Stout this weekend. Yay!

word. I need her to keep me in check or else I'd brew beer faster than I could drink it before it expired.

do you not have any 'real' friends :p

SNPA Clone tonight and possibly DFH 60 min. clone on Sunday. All my primaries are empty and it is driving me nuts. Plus I have 5 empty kegs. Gotta get them suckers filled.

Sure, but they won't keep up with it. I'm at that age where a lot of friends are having their first kid, which limits that...another friend opened up a second restaurant and had to fire his head chef and take it over for himself, so he's doin 12-hour days until the end of the year...another has been having health issues and is running gluten-free to see if that's the culprit...some others are wine geeks, and don't drink as much beer as me...others are unchangeable BMC'ers.

Such is life...

So right now, most (not all) of my beer is consumed by me and the wife. I need to have another BBQ before it gets cold...that'd take care of some of it. :D

I've got a cool afternoon planned on Sunday. We're having 4 other families over and we're brewing 3 different beers. One of the guy is a long time extract brewer who hasn't brewed in a few years and the other three want to see what it's all about. I've got 5 different homebrews on tap/bottled to keep us wet while we're brewing, and we'll split up these beers when they're all bottled so everyone will get a sample of a few different styles.

The ladies are going to carve pumpkins with the kids and we're going to grill some kabobs for dinner when we're done brewing. Should be a great time. I'll take some pics and post them afterwards.

Here's what we're brewing.

10 gal EdWort's Haus Pale Ale (AG)
5 gal Hefeweizen (extract)
5 gal Doppelbock (extract)

Going to bottle some Notty Panty Dropping Cider. :D Then going to brew some pumpkin ale. It's dropped down into the 80's here so it should be a nice brewing weekend. Looking forward to it.

Hopefully I can do EdWorts Stone IPA Clone

when I come back from Chi-town, the order I just placed with AHB will be here, Black Ale, and Sam Adams Boston Ale Clone

I've got EdWort's Haus Pale Ale planned, my first all-grain batch.

I just hope it isn't raining all day tomorrow, it's the 3rd day in a row for me.

I'd hate to have to buy a tarp. :drunk:

A Rye IPA in the bottles tonight, then brew an American Wheat Saturday, while drinking a strong Ale. ahh, good times.

Brewing up a Light Ale for all my light hearted friends. They keep telling me they liked "that first one you made." It did go really fast, and the ESB is still setting in the keg.
