Figured I would throw up some pics of my progress so far. Thanks to everyone here for the inspiration.
Started by getting a good deal on this tap. $200+ shipping. It is in pretty good shape, some minor scratches but looks good from a few feet away. 3 of the taps are older model perlicks and one is brass. I'll upgrade them as I get the funds.
Got the freezer 7cf Kenmoore for $168 from Sears and put a ugly collar on it. Used the thermostat adjustment trick to get the temp just above freezing.
Basement is half finished with "Classic" Wood Paneling. Keezer sits next to the furnace and washer dryer, doubles as clothes folding space for SWMBO.
Can fit 4 ball locks on the floor and a commercial sixtel on the hump with a low profile sanke adapter.
Using a fountain pump inside a gallon of pool antifreeze for the coolant lines.
Lines run along the back wall
The wall had an existing shelf built in. Neighbor helped me build a reinforced shelf that I need to stain for the taps.
I'll post some more pics once I get around to sanding and staining.
