I used to get this beer on ski trips to sugarbush and stowe. Upon searching, I've only found this.

Commercial Description:
An English-style strong ale. This brown ale has great malt depth and drinks like a session beer.
ABV 7%

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your help
 
i have had Shed Mountain Ale before, I have lots of family in VT, and i put in line with some of the black IPA's i have had. I actually just brewed a black IPA today and the color looks very very close to mountain ale.
