Whats the life span or life expectancy of beer once it's bottled? Months? Years?

Is there a proper aging technique? Temperature to store beer at?

I'm just thinking that I'm not going to go through all my beer fast enough... :tank:

I've got a few beers in the basement that are 9 pushing 10 years that are good. Some dont' age so well...the trick...taste them every once in a while...when they peak ( or just after they start to degrade) drink'em up!

No worries. Years. Years without paying extra for oxygen absorbing caps. And it gets better for quite a long time, so don't be too concerned about not drinking fast enough.

In theory and possibly practice, the bigger (Higher OG/ABV) the beer, the longer it will take to get good, and the longer it will stay good.
