I have some of this around and before i pitch it this afternoon, has anyone ever done this with bad results? My logic is that most of the esters will probably be masked by the 5 oz of hops and the 1450 still has a malty profile...

Fwiw the recipe:
10# mo
2# vienna
.5# carapils
.5# c60
60 target 1 oz
15 challenger 1 oz
15 goldings 1oz
0 goldings 2 oz

Thanks for any input.

I brew English styles all the time. I reckon your logic is pretty sound. Good luck with the brew.
