Anyone have any experience cleaning "labels" printed directly on glass/ceramic bottles? I'd like to grab a few of the fancy Rogue brews (eg. http://www.rogue.com/Beer Brochures/MorimotoImperialPilsner.pdf) but I want the painted label off before I use it for bottling. Any ideas...?

(BTW -- I'm new to the forum & just returning to homebrewing after a few years hiatus. This seems like an amazing community & awesome resource.)

I think the paint is baked into the glass. You will have a hard time trying to get it off. If you figure out a way, be sure to post it.

Never tried to remove it, I just use them as is.
I think if you balance what your time is worth vs. the cost of buying empty bombers you would be better off buying empties.
