How do you measure "efficiency" in batch or fly sparging?? is there a specific tool used?? i'm kinda grey in this area... thanks in advance!!

You gotta have a software program to do it. Beer tools has a free version online that I use...it uses BeerSmith Algorithms, so I'm pretty confident in it's numbers.

ok cool. i'll look into that. i guess you basically measure the gravity and compare it to what it should be?? then do the math?? am I right? just wondering. i havent looked at the site yet..
