I am designing a recipe for this weekend. Want to do a scotch ale spiced for the holidays. How important do you think it is to use Scottish 2 row vs American 2 row. Thoughts?

I would probably go with a Marris Otter instead of a 2 row. It should be more available and match the style better. IMHO
