Did hook a monster Ray the size of a 68 Buick hood, not a Manta though.
Very white firm flesh that tastes great anyway you cook it but Blackened is my favorite.
The fish billy on the console seat is very nessesary. Some of these fish have been known to break ankles knock out center consoles or cooler seats.

As a kid my dad used to take me to Rhode Island to fish for blues. I remember being 10 years old with a fish billy smacking the bejoobus our of a big honking snapping fish.

My favorite part of fishing has always been the cooking and eating portion of our program.

Nice.
I heard the cobes were off Atlantic Beach. Only a few weeks and they will be in my neck of the woods.

NICE! all the big fish are in EARLY this year in the Carolinas! hoping for Florida sized Pompano this summer from the surf!

Big blues, big black drum, and bull whiting all off SC/Myrtle piers
