New 15 keg kegerator

Just got done with my kegorator project. I got the freezer free. It was a 15.5 cubic foot freezer and it holds 15 kegs or 14 and a CO2 cylinder. I finished the top with pre-finished hardwood floor and did the trim with pine. Pretty fun project. I have on tap: from left to right, Hard Lemonade, Hard Cider, Triple IPA, Amber Ale, Brown Ale and Dry Irish Stout. Mmmmm, free beer!

Looks great, and I like the idea of pre-finished flooring for a bar top. What did you coat the sides with?

I use a spray paint from Home Depot that is textued to look like granite. I made a neally nice surface. Kind of a speckeled black and white finish. It covered up all of the minor dents and scratches.

Just check the tag. It is a 18.8 cubic foot. Memory is failing....

More likely its all that "Free Beer"...

Good luck. It was a fun project. It took me a couple of afternoons. Even my wife likes it. She hated the old fridge I used to have on the porch. Too Whiskey Tango for her tastes. I used the cheapest pre-finished hardwood flooring at Home Depot. After a few coats of varnish, it shined really nice.
