I ordered a Wyyeast smack pak that was shipped on 13 October. Got it today, 16 Oct. The pack was sealed together with a coldpak in another clear plastic bag. The coldpack was not frozen but it was "cool". The smack pak had not swelled. I placed it immediately in the refrigerator. Do you think it's ok? Would the package swell if it got too hot in transit? Thanks for any information.

The yeast should be fine. Sounds like it was a good shipment. Even if it got hot it won't swell much. The swelling starts with yeast activity which happens when the smack pack inside is crushed combining the yeast with nutrient.
