 I have done a lot of searches on this subject and I have found very little. It only seemed logical to me to use my copper counter flow heat exchanger for heating as well as cooling... right? Nuff said. Last weekend I built a prototype HERMS using my boil/HLT for heat and my copper counterflow chiller for my heat exchanger. It worked first time out of the box. Not to mention the increased efficiency. The same idea could use the hose/copper home built chillers I have seen. Yes, it does require 2 pumps but so does the Brutus XX

When I build my actual system I will post photos.
