I just racked my first all grain to the secondary. OG 1.052 FG 1.013
While taking the final gravity reading, it appeared that there were tiny bubbles coming up the side of the glass. Almost as if it were carbonated. Is this something normal that I have never caught in the past?

When you see that, spin your hydrometer like a top (gently!) to shake the bubbles off. They provide boyancy which can bias your SG reading upward.
